Payment confirmations

What is a payment confirmation?

A payment confirmation is an official PDF record of a SWIFT or CHAPS payment you've sent from Equals.

It carries the payment's unique end-to-end transaction reference (UETR) and the original MT103 or pacs.008 message, the record banks use to confirm a payment's details. Send it to a supplier who's chasing a payment, give it to the recipient's bank so they can trace it, or keep it on file for your auditor.

Which payments can I get a payment confirmation for?

SWIFT and CHAPS payments made on or after 6 August 2026.

Need one for a SWIFT or CHAPS payment made before then? Email help@equalsmoney.com and we'll send it to you.

For other payment types, you can download an order confirmation instead.

How do I download a payment confirmation?

1. Go to Transactions
2. Select the payment
3. Click Payment confirmation to download the PDF

Can I get payment confirmations through the API?

Yes. The API returns the same PDF you'd download from the platform. Our API documentation explains how.

What's the difference between a payment confirmation and an order confirmation?

An order confirmation covers an order you've placed with Equals, including the rate. A payment confirmation covers a payment that has been sent, and it's the one to share with a recipient or their bank.

Why can't I see the Payment confirmation option?

It only appears on SWIFT and CHAPS payments made on or after 6 August 2026. If your payment is one of these and you still can't see it, email help@equalsmoney.com and we'll look into it.
