Who issues Equals Money Cards?

Money held on your Equals Money Card is safeguarded by your card issuer. A card issuer is a financial organisation that issues payment cards (debit, credit, pre-paid), and enables and authorises transfers of funds for the cardholders (e.g. when a cardholder is making a purchase with the card). You can find out more about safeguarding here.

Equals Money Cards are issued by Equals Money International Limited pursuant to licence by Mastercard International Inc. Equals Money International Limited is authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) with the Firm Reference Number (FRN) 900493, to conduct electronic money service activities under the Electronic Money Regulations 2011.
